A financial expert with more than 20 years of professional experience to his name, Andrew M. Rada has excelled as the lead Oracle ERP and ERM solutions analyst at Bed Bath & Beyond Inc. since 2021. In these roles, he utilizes ERP and ERM software and financial tools to oversee every financial area of the company, monitor the day-to-day transactional activity, and analyze and report on the best strategies and management practices to boost the business. He served as Oracle ERP Analyst and Report Developer for Amtrust Financial Services from 2020 to 2021 and as a Senior Financial Analyst for Cigna throughout 2020. Between 1999 and 2019, he found success at AT&T, where he advanced across several positions, including Assistant Manager, Manager of Investor Relations, Accountant, Lead Accountant, Lead Business Analyst, and Lead Financial Systems Analyst. In the midst of his responsibilities at AT&T, he also lent his expertise to Customer Finance Controllers as a Lead Business Analyst from 2011 to 2017 and has been affiliated professionally with Hilton Grand Vacations. Mr. Rada launched his career at Prudential Financial, Inc., where he cut his teeth as a compensation reviewer and staff accountant from 1997 to 1999.
Outside of his work in finance, Mr. Rada employs a similar level of drive and passion for civic engagement, involving himself in such organizations as HispEA and Paddle for Pink. He has also served as a leader of HACEMOS FACES, a Hispanic/Latino employee resource group developed at AT&T to advocate for employees and teach and support local communities, and as the chief executive officer and national president of Filipino-American Communications Employees Inc.—through which he led more than 10,000 volunteers from 2016 to 2019. Among his recognitions for his work over many years, his notable achievement was earning the Presidential Volunteer Service Award from President Obama between 2013 and 2019.
Attributing his success to his humble upbringing and devout faith, Mr. Rada prepared for his career by obtaining a Bachelor of Science in accounting and criminal justice from Rutgers University in 1996. In the next five to 10 years, he aspires to lead his own team and division and serve as a mentor and consultant for companies.
